I teach at College of Southern Nevada High School (CSNHS) in Las Vegas, Nevada. CSNHS provides a program that combines high school and college through an agreement made between the Clark County School District and the College of Southern Nevada. Congratulations to our We the People competitors
On December 13th the We the People competing class of 2008-09 won first place in our congressional district! In addition to having the highest overall team score in the district, for three of the six units in the competition CSNHS had a higher score than all other competing schools in Southren Nevada, resulting in CSNHS students winning 3 unit awards. Our class will go on to compete in the state competition on February 7th.

Science has proven that you can not learn effectively while doing something else! So when your instructor tells you not to be doing something else while they are teaching, don't tell them you can multitask, because science has proven that multitasking decreases your effectiveness in learning.
